Mr. Jelani Cheek (senior, Microbiology major working with Dr. J.T. Hollibaugh) is honored as a top 100 student employee of the year. Each year UGA faculty and staff nominate students working in their offices or laboratories and the top 100 students (of over 5,000 undergraduate student employees on the UGA campus) are chosen based on an evaluation by a panel of faculty and staff members based on materials provided by the nominator. Mr. Cheek was selected based on material submitted by Dr. Hollibaugh on behalf of the members of his lab group.
