Caitlin Amos has been awarded the 2018 NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship (NESSF)! NASA awards this fellowship to graduate students based on the scientific merit and relevance of their proposed research to NASA’s objectives in Earth or space science and their academic excellence. Caitlin is going to investigate the relation between El Niño and ocean fronts in the coastal ocean. These fellowships are highly competitive with success rates generally around 10%. Her advisor, Renato Castelao, said: "this speaks volumes about Caitlin’s creativity and capacity for independent research." Congratulations, Caitlin!
