The Marine Science department was used as a client for Yen-I Lee's 3510 Public Relations Research course. This effort was spearheaded by our very own Christof Meile in order to evaluate how we can better communicate our awesome program here to everyone else in the academic community! Specifically, the course objectives were: "(1) To review recent developments in public relations research; (2) to understand the contexts and use of research in public relations; and (3) to introduce you how to use those research skills to facilitate public relations practice and program evaluation. Real client experience will allow you to apply the research methods to public relations as well as providing insights for local business development." The hard work these students put in over the entire semester was astounding and will be very helpful to us going forward. Good job to everyone involved!
