Sydney Plummer has been awarded an NSF graduate fellowship to investigate the ecophysiological roles of phytoplankton-derived reactive oxygen species.

PhD Student Dan Owen and his advisor, Brian Hopkinson, travelled to the Florida Keys over winter break to study photosynthetic rates on coral reefs.

Maria Letourneau, a Ph.D. student working with Dr. Patricia Medeiros, presented the first results of their research on the GA coast at the 2017 ASLO Meeting in Hawaii.
