We asked Sarah Harrison to share her experience working under an NSF Fellowship program. This is one of the many opportunities our graduate students have had while dedicating their time and effort to the Marine Science program. Here's what she had to say:

The Univeristy of Georgia Skidaway Institute of Oceanography and the Department of Marine Sciences in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences invite applications for two nine-month, tenure-track faculty positions resident at the coastal campus in Savannah, GA. 

Our final seminar of the Marine Science Fall Seminar Series concludes successfully with Toshi Urakawa’s analysis on Sawfish. We’ve had many amazing speakers this semester, so please check back in January for updates on the Spring Seminar Series!
